Party at the Theatre!

Spokane — Enjoy an evening of fun, friends, food and entertainment, with silent and live auctions offering incredible items,  and healthy and hearty appetizers by D’Zaar Beverages. Highlighting the evening will be a humorous dramatic piece by actress/director Karen Kalensky (”Saturday Night Live” and ”All My Children”), with John Henry Whitaker (”Walker Texas Ranger,” “CSI” and “General Hospital.” Tristen Canfield will perform her winning piece for the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts auditions. This event will be held at Spokane Interplayers Theatre, located at 174 S. Howard St.

Wild Sage is Spokane’s Full Service Restaurant of the Year!

The Washington Restaurant Association (WRA) Spokane Chapter held its Awards Gala & Auction entitled “Celebrating ProStart.” Wed. April 9th. ProStart is a WRA two-year high school program that prepares students for careers in the foodservice industry.

It was a fun night of celebration and great food by the MAX at Mirabeau Park Hotel.  Spokane’s food service industry came together to award industry comrades that provided excellent service in the past year. The 2008 Award-Winners are:

Healing Foods Kitchen Cooking Class

Death by Chocolate

Proceeds from this event will go toward the Excelsior Youth Center, an agency that helps 12-17 year olds in their recovery from drug addiction, abuse, neglect and more. The Excelsior Youth Center also provides the youth with housing, counceling, treatment and education. This event will be held at the Service Station located at 9315 N.
