Spokane — The non-competitive cylcing event debuts Sept. 7, 2008, at Riverfront Park and includes food, entertainment and different ride options for cyclists, whether you want to just ride around the park or take on a 21-mile ride on the Centennial Trail to Riverside State Park and back. The event begins at 7am, where there will be Thomas Hammer coffee and a free pancake feed. There will also be free BumbleBars for bikers as well. Those participating in the 21-mile ride will take off around 9am, with other riders beginning their ride at 10am. Partisipants will be welcomed back from their ride with free ice cream from The Scoop and live bluegrass music. Cost is $10/Person or $25/Family of three and $5/Each additional family member.

Spokane — Come and join in the fun of this annual event! The 29th Annual Pig Out in the Park is a six day music and food festival held in Riverfront Park. There will be 50 food booths and three beer gardens, with 75 entertainment acts performing on three stages. Admission to this event is FREE.

This event will be held at the 1800 block of East Sprague Avenu at Pittsburg Street in front of the new international mural.
Airway Heights — Come and join in the fun at the largest polo benefit West of the Mississippi! The Cobra Roofing Polo Classic benefits the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Spokane. This event is a fun and exciting way to support a great cause! Gates open at 11am, in which you will enjoy wine, appetizers, art walk, silent auction, live music and strolling violinists. The event will kick off at 12:30pm with skydivers and a luncheon buffet. The International Polo Event will begin at 1:40pm. Other festivities of the day will include: Ladies Best Hat Competition, Champagne Divot Stomp, Golden Horse Shoe Contest, Awards Presentation and Diamond Necklace Raffle Drawing.
