3rd Annual Mixing at Mobius Fundraiser

Spokane — Who said Mobius Kids isn’t for adults?! Well, on Oct. 3, 2008, from 6-9pm, Mobius Kids is all about the grown ups. This mixing event includes signature martinis by Twig’s Bistro & Martini Bar, wood-oven pizza from Rock City Grill, treats from Boehms Chocolates & Flowers and Madeleine’s Cafe & Patisserie. There will be music by the Nick Herman Trio, a silent auction and incredible science shows. Tickets are $40 per person and include two martinis, wood-oven pizza and complimentary VIP parking pass at the River Park Square parking garage for the event. All proceeds will benefit Mobius Kids. Green Bluff — Take part in this annual , family friendly event on the Bluff. Here you will find a large variety of apples, fresh-pressed cider and pumpkins. Guests will be entertained by the choreography of some great local artists, with dances such as the Argentine Tango and Jazz being performed. There will also be painters on stage capturing the event through their paintings. SpokeFest Debuts

Spokane — The non-competitive cylcing event debuts Sept. 7, 2008, at Riverfront Park and includes food, entertainment and different ride options for cyclists, whether you want to just ride around the park or take on a 21-mile ride on the Centennial Trail to Riverside State Park and back. The event begins at 7am, where there will be Thomas Hammer coffee and a free pancake feed. There will also be free BumbleBars for bikers as well. Those participating in the 21-mile ride will take off around 9am, with other riders beginning their ride at 10am. Partisipants will be welcomed back from their ride with free ice cream from The Scoop and live bluegrass music. Cost is $10/Person or $25/Family of three and $5/Each additional family member.
